Zach Takos

Primary Focus & Experience

Zach is a tenacious litigator and savvy outside general counsel with years of experience handling an array of civil matters. He represents Fortune 500 companies, publicly-traded corporations, mid-size and small businesses, partnerships, and individuals in complex commercial litigation matters, appeals, business strategies, and best practices for fast-growing companies. Zach advises his clients on questions of contract review, business formation, emerging markets, litigation avoidance, subpoena compliance, and other legal issues. Zach also represents select individuals in cases where clients or their friends or family members are injured in accidents. By using a creative approach to each legal issue, Zach gets results for his clients.

Prior to founding Takos Law Group, Zach represented businesses and individuals in state and federal courts as an attorney with Greene Infuso, LLP, where he also advised clients on real estate investment strategies and other business-related matters. Before that, Zach began his life in private practice with Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where he represented some of the world’s largest casino corporations and well-known entertainers.

During law school, Zach was privileged to serve as a legal intern with the Executive Office of the President of the United States in Washington, D.C. In that capacity, he advised the White House on legal issues relating to the Federal Tort Claims Act, federal records management in emergency situations, and federal employee travel regulations. Zach also served as a judicial intern for the Second District Court of Utah and as a legislative intern to the late United States Senator, Robert F. Bennett.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Super Lawyers Magazine-Mountain States has named Zach in its list of Super Lawyers in every edition from 2017 to 2023. This list is reserved for only 5% of attorneys in Nevada, Utah, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. Prior to that, Zach was named as a Super Lawyer, Rising Star from 2014 to 2016.

While in law school, Zach served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Law, Economics, and Policy.
